The Metalpress 100 EVO Briquetting Machine is the most compact model in the Metalpress series, designed for machine shops with a limited number of machining centers equipped with low-profile chip conveyors that produce metal chips and wish to begin the process of compacting and recovering coolant without excessive investment.

Standard Components and Features

The Metalpress 100 EVO is equipped with a base that doubles as an oil reservoir, a gearmotor for the agitator, a hydraulic cylinder for the drawer, a hydraulic cylinder for the compactor, inductive proximity sensors, a hydraulic system with a cast iron pump, a briquette ejection system with a partition equipped with a hydraulic cylinder, and an electrical control panel with a PLC. With extremely compact dimensions of 1057 × 1420 × 1080 mm and a weight of 550 kg, it can be installed beneath the main exhaust systems or in areas with limited space. The total installed power is 5 kW.

Compatible materials

Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, cast iron, copper, brass, bronze, nickel, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. For non-standard materials, free sample testing is available at COMAFER’s R&D department.
