Our History
1975 — The Origins in Brescia
COMAFER was founded in 1975 in Brescia, by Luciano Peroni.
The first machine produced, the IDRA Series briquetting machine, marks the beginning of an industrial history spanning 50 years, built on manufacturing quality, reliability, and customer focus.
From the very beginning, the company focused on the compaction of waste materials, anticipating one of the most strategic challenges of modern industrial production: transforming processing residues from a problem into a resource.

Thanks to continuous investment in design and development, COMAFER has built a complete range of machines over time with cutting-edge technology and performance, capable of processing dozens of types of materials — from wood to metals, paper to textiles, and even biomass and plastic.
Today, our headquarters covers over 1,800 m2, featuring a production department, an internal Research & Development laboratory, and a spare parts warehouse structured to guarantee assistance even for machines that have been out of production for many years.
